Cars like a T actually do really well in mud to a point, because of the good ground clearance and the ability of a tall thin tire to cut through to something hard. A lot of modern cars wouldn’t have made it this far into town.

I’d be willing to bet a 2wd Model T off road would kick the ass of quite a few “off-road” awd crossovers of today.
